Wormsday #15

The 15th. Wormsday has been held on yesterday (with Noresz, and Attila) . For this occasion we didn't order the food (pizza), but we tried out the wok that I bought in Wien. I selected a thai food. We cooked it to be litte different (couldn't find every ingredients in the shop)
The original is like:

THAI CHICKEN WITH FRESH BASIL
=============================
(Serves 4)

Ingredients:
------------
3 Tblsp Vegetable Oil
1 lb Chicken breast -- boned
2 Tblsp Garlic -- coarsely chopped
3 Tblsp Nuoc Nam (fish sauce)
3/4 Cup Basil -- thinly sliced
2 Tblsp Sugar
2 Serrano chilies
2 Tblsp Water

Instructions:
-------------
Skin chicken and cut into 1.25 X 1 in strips. Remove stems from chilies
and cut lengthwise into thin strips (discard the seeds). Heat oil in
wok or large skillet over high heat. Add garlic and stir until golden
brown, about 10 seconds. Add 0.5 cup of basil and the chilies and
stir-fry just u ntil basil wilts, about 1 minute. Add chicken and
stir-fry about 3 minutes. Add nuoc mam, water and sugar and stir-fry
until sauce bubbles and thickens slightly, about 2 minutes. Add
remaining 0.25 cup of basil and stir-fry until just wilted, about 5
seconds. Serve immediately with steamed rice...

We ate it with glass noodle, and sweet chilli sauce.

The cooking was good, the result was excellent (it ran out in 10 mins), the mood was good, too. Waiting for the next.

Csikasz is coming!

Csikasz, reedy wolf, littlewolf, toportyán- (for most of us) these names are known by literature. But they all are about the same animal, the Golden Jackal (Canis aureus), that appeared in our country after more than a half century. They appearances, and habits are studied by the leading of Szent István University.
The Golden Jackal has appeared again in the early '90's, and it is almost everywhere in Hungary. 90-95% of them live in Somogy, Baranya, and Bács-Kiskun county. Perhaps it will find its home here, again, because here are lot of their main food, murines. And also they don't have natural enemy in Hungary. The Golden Jackal is bigger than a fox, but smaller than a wolf, can be found in Africa, and Asia, too.

25 years ago, Carnegie Mellon University professor Scott E. Fahlman was the first to use the "serie of characters" :-) (a colon, a hyphen and a parenthesis) to sign humorous parts in his mail. So, the electronic smiley started its world wide tour then.
Happy birthday! <@:-D

This is to McLaren from the FIA, and the same to FIA from me.
"The WMSC has stripped Vodafone McLaren Mercedes of all constructors' points in the 2007 FIA Formula One World Championshiop an the team can score no point for the remainder of the season *.

"Furthermore, the team will pay a fine equal to 100 million dollar, less the FOM income lost as a result of the points deduction.

"However, due to the exceptional circumstances in which the FIA gave the team's drivers an immunity in return for providing evidence, there is no penalty in regards to drivers' points **.

"The WMSC will receive a full technical report on the 2008 McLaren car and will take a decision at its December 2007 meeting as to what sanction, if any, will be imposed on the team for the 2008 season."

The full reasons for this decision will be issued on the 14th September 2007.

* Points gained by other teams so far this season will not be affected.

** No McLaren representative will be allowed on the podium should a McLaren driver win any of the remaining races of the 2007 season.
What is this?

"sport is actually a chance for us to have other human beings push us to excel"
Since the sport is all about money somebody forgot this. If somebody, then I'm a fan of Formula 1, BUT isf somebody is guilty, then punish! Don't want the pilots to be traitor for inpunity, ergo to bite the hand that feeds them. If no guilty, then DON'T BE ANY PUNISHMENT!
But this FIA is just looking for money, there's a part of punishment just like there won't be punishment from the other part.
If you collect points with a car that is against the rules, then you are not there where you think you are. Yes, punish the team, we made traitor of you, amnesty for you.

I have a mood to spit.

Swallows still dieing

Swallows are dieing because of the last weeks cold, and rainy weather.
They eat insects, but they disappeared in this rain-wind-cold weather, so the swallows ends by weakness, chill, or die by famine.
Still now, near of our house still can find fallen birds.

Simple people II.

The bus to work, again.
The people are talking, again.
They are sheeps, again.
One of them starts to shout when he realize (after many weeks) that the hotel on the roadside is lighting: "Loook, the lights of the hotel are on! Surely there are customers..."
Yes, the hotel is just like that, sometimes (mostly) there are customers in it. But I don't think that they sign it like this way.
The other starts to yell, she won't buy anything from the bakery truck at the gate, the supermarket made is good enough, because it was cheaper.
Otherwise she likes this type, too, but just her wallet doesn't like. Is it really the info that everybody have to know? She must yelling?
And this "bloody rain", and the cool weather. She is the model who wanted to choke because of the "bloody hot weather" a couple of weeks ago, and cried for rain.
Yes, needs cool in summer, needs warm in winter. When it's raining, then wants sunshine, when shining, then rain.

The "simple people", again.

The end of the tunnel

Tomorrow is free day, then my old job is back.

Weekend,meetings

There was the 4th. Kanizsa wine- and dödölle festival yesterday that became long for me. We started the day at 10am when we watched the pageantry with Frodó's, and Noresz. Then we went to the market, tasted dödölle, watched around. In evening we met Jimmy's for a talking at the Robinson, then we went back to the fest with our pal Attila. I met there lot of long time ago seen familiars (what this kind of happening good for).
We could receive the title of "most loyal visitors", we spent more than 12 hours there.
On the way back to home Tesco with Attila, then home.
